Summary
This study looked at how a non-invasive technique called transcranial focused ultrasound (tFUS) affects brain activity in 25 healthy adults. Researchers targeted a brain region linked to reward and impulse control, the ventral striatum, to see if tFUS could change its activity. The goal was to gather knowledge for future treatments for cocaine use disorder.
