First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how the brain's temporal lobe helps process sound. Researchers will use EEG recordings from 10 people aged 13-25 who have had surgery to remove a brain lesion in a key hearing area. The goal is to build a computer model of how the brain responds to sound, which could improve future hearing and speech treatments.
