NCT ID NCT07503275

First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 19, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain handles stopping impulses and ignoring distractions in people with bipolar disorder or major depression. Researchers will use brain scans and thinking tests to find unique patterns for each condition. The goal is to make it easier to tell these two mood disorders apart, especially when symptoms overlap. About 120 adults who are currently stable will take part.
