Summary
This study aims to understand how the brain processes social pain in people with borderline personality disorder (BPD). Researchers will use EEG brain scans while participants play a virtual ball-tossing game designed to trigger feelings of social exclusion. The study will compare brain activity patterns between 62 people with BPD and healthy volunteers to identify differences in how their brains respond to social rejection.
