Scientists hunt earliest Alzheimer's clues in the brain
NCT ID NCT06880510
Summary
This study aims to understand the earliest brain changes in Alzheimer's disease by focusing on a small area called the locus coeruleus. Researchers will use brain scans, eye tracking, and mild ear stimulation on 150 adults to see how this area's health relates to attention and memory. The goal is to find new ways to detect risk for cognitive decline long before symptoms appear.
