Zapping depression away: new brain stimulation trial offers hope
NCT ID NCT07329153
Summary
This study is testing two faster forms of non-invasive brain stimulation for people with depression that hasn't improved with standard treatments. Researchers will compare a more precise, image-guided method against a standard method and a placebo treatment. The goal is to see if these accelerated treatments can effectively reduce depression symptoms in a shorter time frame.
