Brain zaps tested to lift teens from depression
NCT ID NCT07185451
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation treatment can help teenagers with depression feel better faster when added to their regular medication. Thirty teens aged 12-18 who are already on stable depression medication will receive either real or fake stimulation sessions over four weeks. Researchers will measure changes in depression symptoms, anxiety, sleep, and thinking patterns to see if the treatment is safe and helpful.
