Zapping the brain to ease Parkinson's shakes
NCT ID NCT07361250
Summary
This study is testing whether a new, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help control the movement symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Researchers will enroll 20 participants with Parkinson's to receive either the real stimulation or a sham (fake) treatment. The goal is to see if this painless procedure, which uses electrodes on the scalp, can safely improve symptoms like tremor and slowness of movement.
