Zapping the brain to shrink a fatty liver?
NCT ID NCT07399600
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique, called repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS), can help treat a type of fatty liver disease linked to both metabolism and alcohol. Researchers will compare a personalized brain targeting method to a standard method and a placebo. They will measure changes in liver fat, metabolic health, and cravings for food and alcohol.
