Zapping two brain spots shows promise for calming uncontrollable shaking

NCT ID NCT07344194

Summary

This study is testing a non-invasive brain stimulation technique to reduce hand tremors in people with essential tremor. Participants will receive five sessions where magnetic pulses are applied to two specific areas of the brain thought to be involved in causing the shaking. The goal is to see if this dual-target approach provides better and longer-lasting relief for people whose tremors aren't well controlled by standard medications.
