Zapping the brain to fight migraines

NCT ID NCT07442916

Summary

This study tested whether a painless, non-invasive brain stimulation technique could help people with chronic migraines who also overuse pain medication. 60 participants received either a real or fake stimulation treatment alongside standard detox therapy. Researchers measured changes in headache frequency and looked for biological signs that could predict who benefits most from this approach.
