First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tested two types of gentle brain stimulation (tACS and tTIS) in 36 children with autism aged 4-10. The goal was to see if these safe, non-invasive treatments could improve social skills and other symptoms. Children received 5 days of stimulation and were followed for 4 weeks. The study compared these groups to children who only received standard rehabilitation training.
