Summary
This early-stage trial tested whether an oral drug called MW151 is safe and can help protect memory and thinking skills in cancer patients receiving whole-brain radiation. The study involved 27 adults with brain metastases from solid tumors. Researchers gave participants the drug alongside their standard radiation treatment to see if it could reduce the cognitive decline often caused by the therapy.
