Summary
This study is testing whether using a special monitor to track oxygen levels in the brain during carotid artery surgery can help doctors better manage a patient's blood pressure. The goal is to see if this personalized approach reduces the risk of stroke and other brain-related complications after the operation. It will involve 560 adults undergoing this specific surgery to clear a blocked neck artery.
