Old pain pill gets new shot at fighting cancer in the brain

NCT ID NCT02429570

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called meclofenamate, previously used for pain, can help control cancer that has spread to the brain (brain metastases). It's a small, early-stage trial with 30 participants to see if the drug is safe and if it's practical to run a larger study. The main goal is to see if enough people can complete the initial two months of treatment and brain scans to make future research worthwhile.
