First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan that shows how brain tumors use energy, which may help doctors predict if a tumor will respond to radiation therapy. About 276 adults with brain metastases will receive this special scan before and after standard radiation treatment. The goal is to see if the scan can tell aggressive tumors from slow-growing ones, allowing for more personalized treatment in the future.
