New brain scan could predict which tumors resist radiation
NCT ID NCT03324360
Summary
This study is testing a new type of MRI scan that measures the chemical activity of brain tumors. Researchers want to see if this scan can predict how well a tumor will respond to targeted radiation treatment. The study involves people with cancer that has spread to the brain, as well as healthy volunteers and people with memory conditions for comparison. The goal is to gather information that could one day help doctors personalize treatment plans.
