New imaging aims to solve brain tumor mystery: real growth or false alarm?

Summary

This study tests advanced imaging methods to tell the difference between true tumor growth and pseudoprogression (a harmless scan change after treatment) in people with brain cancer. About 25 adults who have had brain tumor treatment and show a new suspicious finding on scans will be enrolled. The goal is to improve accuracy and avoid unnecessary treatments.
