Scientists test new brain scan to track deadly cancer
NCT ID NCT04019002
Summary
This study tested whether a new type of MRI scan could help doctors make better decisions for people with glioblastoma, a serious brain cancer. Seventeen adult patients received the experimental scan, which uses a special injected agent, alongside their standard care. The main goal was to see if this new imaging method was safe and could provide useful information about how the cancer responds to treatment.
