Scientists seek volunteers to unlock secrets of brain attention

NCT ID NCT01087281

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at how certain types of brain damage change the way people pay attention and process what they see. Researchers will compare adults with brain injuries (like from a stroke or surgery) to healthy volunteers using thinking tests, brain scans (MRI), and magnetic recordings (MEG). The goal is to better understand which brain areas control visual attention.
