Summary
This study aimed to find the safest length of time for patients to take two blood-thinning medications after receiving a stent to treat an unruptured brain aneurysm. Researchers compared taking the medications for 6 months versus 12 months to see which duration better prevented strokes caused by clots while also avoiding serious bleeding risks. The goal was to determine the optimal treatment plan to control the aneurysm with the fewest complications.
