First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at how brain activity related to thinking and self-control affects walking in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will measure walking patterns, thinking tests, and brain waves in 70 participants (both with Parkinson's and healthy older adults). The goal is to better understand why walking becomes harder when people with Parkinson's have to think and walk at the same time.
