NCT ID NCT05572671
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at brain activity in smokers trying to quit, to understand what leads to a lapse (smoking again). Researchers will use MRI scans to track changes in brain patterns and mood just before a lapse happens. The goal is to find early warning signs that could help prevent relapse. About 150 adult smokers will participate.
