New hypertension drug enters phase 2 testing

Summary
This study tests five different doses of a new drug called BR1400 in 330 adults with high blood pressure (essential hypertension). The goal is to see how well each dose lowers blood pressure and how safe it is over 8 weeks. Participants must have a certain blood pressure range and may or may not already be on blood pressure medication.
