10 years of climbing injuries revealed in hospital study
NCT ID NCT07498036
Summary
This study looks back at 10 years of medical records from a major trauma hospital in Scotland to understand what kinds of injuries people get from bouldering, a form of rock climbing. Researchers are collecting information on the types of injuries, patient age and sex, and whether surgery was needed. The goal is to gather knowledge about injury patterns to help improve safety for climbers.
