Can a common injection help kids with cerebral palsy move better and feel better?
NCT ID NCT07034547
Summary
This study is testing whether a standard treatment—injections of botulinum toxin (like Botox)—can improve how well children with a specific type of cerebral palsy can use their hands and legs, and whether it makes them feel better in their daily lives. Researchers will follow 30 children, aged 8 to 17, who have spastic hemiparetic cerebral palsy. They will measure the children's movement and quality of life before the injections, and again 4 and 12 weeks after, to see if there are positive changes.
