Tiny study probes gene changes in jawbone grafts
NCT ID NCT06156488
First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026
Summary
This small study of 5 people compared how genes related to bone healing are turned on or off when using a standard bone graft material alone versus adding hyaluronic acid and polynucleotides. Participants needed sinus lifts before getting dental implants. Researchers analyzed bone samples 6 months after grafting to see which genes were active.
