Doctors test Patient's own bone marrow to save young hips

Summary

This study is testing if adding a patient's own concentrated bone marrow cells to a standard hip surgery is better at slowing down a condition called osteonecrosis (bone death) in the hip. The goal is to preserve the natural hip joint and delay or avoid the need for a total hip replacement, especially in younger patients. Participants with early-stage disease will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard surgery alone or the surgery plus the bone marrow cell injection.
