First seen Feb 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested a less intense bone marrow transplant for people with blood cancers who couldn't find a perfectly matched family donor. It used partially matched donors who were not first-degree relatives. The goal was to see if this approach could reduce severe side effects like graft-versus-host disease and improve survival. 87 participants were enrolled to find the safest treatment plan.
