First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study compares two types of bone scanners (HR-pQCT and pQCT) to see how well they measure bone and muscle loss in people with conditions like osteoporosis, arthritis, and kidney disease. The goal is to improve fracture risk prediction beyond current methods. Researchers will enroll 1,000 participants, including a healthy control group, to understand how different diseases affect bone structure.
