First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at how bone density affects the way athletes land after ACL reconstruction. Researchers used blood flow restriction to help control bone health in one group. The study included 19 athletes aged 16-22 and measured leg symmetry when landing from a jump. The goal was to see if better bone health leads to safer landing mechanics.
