Summary

This study tested a new bone graft material (OIF/β-TCP) in 35 adults with open tibial fractures (severe breaks where the bone pierces the skin). The goal was to see if it helps the bone heal properly and safely. Participants were followed for up to 52 weeks after the graft surgery.
