Scientists test common bone drug in fight against rare bone cancer

NCT ID NCT03173976

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a drug called zoledronic acid, which is normally used to strengthen bones, can help control tumor growth in patients with a type of bone cancer called chondrosarcoma. Participants receive the drug before their standard surgery and again afterward. The main goals are to check if the drug is safe for these patients and to see if it affects the tumor.
