First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at 24 adults needing dental implants in a narrow jawbone. Surgeons used a split crest technique and added either bone graft, dentin (tooth) graft, or no graft. The goal was to see which approach gives the best bone width and implant stability. Results will help dentists choose the best method for stronger, longer-lasting implants.
