First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study compares two bone cements used to repair spinal fractures caused by osteoporosis. One cement is standard, the other is softer. Researchers want to see if the softer cement leads to fewer new fractures and better pain and function over two years. About 200 adults with one painful spine fracture are taking part.
