Skin deep: new study probes body image struggles in kids with chronic rashes

Summary

This study aims to find out how common body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is in children with chronic skin diseases compared to healthy kids. It will include 500 children aged 6 to 18, half with skin conditions and half without. Researchers will use questionnaires to measure BDD symptoms and how skin disease affects quality of life.
