First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study will follow 6,743 adults with obesity-related cancers (like breast, colon, or lung cancer) to see how changes in body fat and muscle affect survival, cancer return, and quality of life. Researchers will use imaging scans to measure body composition, going beyond simple weight or BMI. The goal is to better understand why some people do worse than others and improve future treatment plans.
