Could your muscle mass predict your cancer risk?
NCT ID NCT07285408
Summary
This study aims to understand if a patient's body composition—like muscle loss, body fat, and nutritional status—affects the risk of bladder cancer returning or worsening. Researchers will observe 150 adults with early-stage bladder cancer, measuring their muscle mass, body fat, and nutrition through questionnaires, blood tests, and CT scans. The goal is to see if these body-related factors can help doctors better predict which patients are at higher risk.
