Summary
This study tested a single dose of BNC210, an experimental medication, against a placebo for quickly reducing anxiety in adults with social anxiety disorder. 370 participants took the drug or placebo before a public speaking challenge and rated their distress. The goal was to see if BNC210 could lower anxiety during stressful social situations.
