New hope for rare nerve cancer: drug targets gene-mutated tumors

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called BMS-986504 in people with a rare cancer called MPNST that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. Only people whose tumors are missing a specific gene (MTAP) can join. The goal is to see if the drug can shrink tumors or slow the cancer's growth, and to check for side effects.
