New biosimilar takes on keytruda in melanoma study

NCT ID NCT07581509

First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new drug called Bmab1800 works as well as the approved drug Keytruda for people with melanoma (a serious skin cancer) that has been removed by surgery. About 138 adults with stage IIB, IIC, or III melanoma will receive either Bmab1800 or Keytruda as an extra treatment to help prevent the cancer from coming back. The main goal is to compare how the body processes each drug and to check for side effects and immune reactions.
