Could a simple breathing device spare kids from ear surgery?

NCT ID NCT06967506

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a special breathing exercise device (AirOFit PRO™) helps children aged 4 to 10 with fluid behind the eardrum (otitis media with effusion) recover faster. The device is designed to open the Eustachian tube and improve ear ventilation. If effective, it could reduce the need for surgery in chronic cases.
