Summary

This study will measure blood thickness during planned brain surgery in 1000 adults to see if it relates to brain oxygen levels and complications like infections or kidney problems within 30 days after surgery. No new treatments are tested—the goal is to better understand risk factors. Participants must be 18–80 and scheduled for elective brain surgery.
