Summary

This early-stage study tests whether giving a drug that modifies red blood cells can improve oxygen delivery during a blood transfusion. About 35 healthy adults will receive their own stored blood with or without the drug. The goal is to measure oxygen levels in tissues and blood, not to treat any disease.
