Simple blood test could replace scans for cancer monitoring

NCT ID NCT02633111

Summary

This study is testing whether a blood test can detect if aggressive B-cell lymphoma has returned after chemotherapy treatment. Researchers are following 501 patients to see if this test can identify cancer recurrence earlier than standard scans and exams. The goal is to determine if blood monitoring could eventually replace frequent imaging tests for follow-up care.
