Blood test could signal safe time to halt cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT06146920
Summary
This study is testing if a simple blood test can help doctors decide when it might be safe for some cancer patients to stop their immunotherapy. It involves 39 people with advanced melanoma or non-small cell lung cancer whose cancer is under control after at least a year of treatment. The main goal is to see if patients with no cancer DNA detected in their blood can safely stop therapy without their cancer returning within a year.
