New blood test could spot kidney cancer sooner

NCT ID NCT02664883

Summary

This study is testing a new blood and urine test to see if it can help doctors find kidney cancer early and track how it responds to treatment. Researchers are comparing results from healthy volunteers, patients with localized cancer having surgery, and patients with advanced cancer receiving drug therapy. The goal is to see if changes in specific immune cells in the blood match up with changes in the cancer seen on scans.
