Which blood pressure monitor is best for surgery patients?
NCT ID NCT06602089
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at 80 adults having non-cardiac surgery to see how well a finger sensor and a standard arm cuff measure blood pressure compared to the most accurate method (an artery catheter). The goal was to find out which non-invasive method gives readings closest to the true blood pressure. Results will help doctors choose the best monitoring tool for patients during surgery.
