First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a special cuff that limits blood flow during exercise can help people with leg tendon or bone injuries regain strength and muscle mass faster. About 128 adults aged 18 to 65 who are getting physical therapy will be randomly assigned to receive either blood flow restriction therapy or a placebo. The goal is to see if this technique improves recovery beyond standard care.
