Researchers probe hidden blood link to mysterious gut bleeds

Summary
This study aims to understand if people with a specific cause of gastrointestinal bleeding (called angiodysplasia) also have underlying blood clotting disorders. Researchers will check 55 adult patients for these disorders and see if they can predict who is at higher risk of bleeding again or dying in the hospital. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future care, not to test a treatment.
